beautiful, high-end retail store located in downtown Lexington is
seeking an energetic, personable Store Manager. The selected
applicant will have previous retail, sales, and / or customer service
experience and enjoy working directly with people on a one-on-one basis.
This position offers a high degree of autonomy, so the ideal candidate
will be self-motivated, a quick learner, and multi-task oriented – able
to juggle multiple priorities with a smile and pleasant outlook. Should
be outgoing and vivacious with the ability to engage customers with a

Graves Center for Calling & Career
Administrative Coordinator
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following; other duties and tasks may be assigned that are
specific to position:
Provide front desk coverage and
scheduling assistance for Director and Associate Director; ‘front line’
contact for students and employers; responsible for general
administration and organization of the career center; works
collaboratively with faculty, administration, students, and employers.
(20%)
Oversee student file maintenance, database management, processing of
student paperwork for the Graves Center; answering phones, making
appointments, opening the mail and routing information; independently
drafting follow-up correspondence. (20%)
Assist with student use of campus web-based systems; posting jobs and
internship opportunities. Maintain web-based career management system;
assists employers and trains students on the use of ‘Tiger Net’ program.
Research various websites as they support the program. (20%)
Assist with future supply needs for major programs, projects, mail-outs,
as well as, day-to day operations of the department; Maintain office
equipment inventory system. Coordinate repairs and contract machine
reporting for copy machines, printers, facsimiles and scanner.
Supervises the maintenance of the career resource library; orders office
supplies as necessary. (15%)
Oversee the Graves Center for Calling and Career facility management in
The W. Peyton Thurman Meetinghouse; coordinate and schedule events for
building; arranges meetings; coordinate for employers to visit campus
and possibly meet faculty; organizes employer and graduate school
information sessions on campus; coordinates fairs to promote jobs and
internships; helps to manage special events throughout the year. (15%)
Assist with a variety of the Center for Calling and Career related
marketing materials. Develop advertising publications for career fairs,
seminars, and other programs and events sponsored by Career Services.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: The ideal
candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and database administration
including: MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of Access and web-based career
management is a plus. Ability to operate personal computers, and online
computing systems as well as other office equipment such as copy
machines, typewriters, phone / fax systems, etc.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s
degree from a four-year college or university in business, marketing,
psychology, communication, public relations, or other related major; or
one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Other SKILLS: Excellent oral and
written communication skills. Must be able to multi-task, remain
flexible, and thrive in a customer service oriented environment. While
serving as a professional role model, must have a passion for serving
students and demonstrate great interpersonal skills.

Regional Development Coordinator
The Bluegrass Area Chapter of the
American Red Cross is currently seeking a full-time Regional Development
Coordinator. The Regional Development Coordinator will work with
community chapters throughout Eastern, Southern, and Central Kentucky
and the regional director of development to create a comprehensive
development program. Responsibilities will include program planning and
implementation, donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and
acknowledgement, community outreach, event planning, and database
management.
Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s
degree and one to three years development experience. Successful
candidates will also possess excellent organizational skills, written
and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a
willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
Salary range is $30,000 per year with a
